From Ashes to Altars: The Rebirth You Didn’t Know You Carried

Updated: Apr 17

The Rebirth is often required.

There are some versions of you that do not survive what you’ve been through.

Let’s tell the truth.

Some parts of you had to burn.

The expectations.

The attachments.

The identity you built

around things that did not last.

And when it all fell apart—

it didn’t feel like transformation.

It felt like ruin.

But what if I told you—

you were never meant to stay

who you were before the fire?

What if the breaking…was the beginning of your becoming?

This Is What They Don’t Teach You About Rebirth

Rebirth is not soft.

It is not polished.

It is not pretty in the beginning.

Rebirth is fire.

It is sitting in what ended

without rushing to replace it.

It is facing what hurt

without numbing it.

It is allowing everything false

to burn away—

until only truth remains.

And truth will cost you.

But it will also free you.

“For our God is a consuming fire.”

— Hebrews 12:29

You Didn’t Just Go Through It—You Were Forged In It

You are not standing here by accident.

You are standing here because something in you refused to die.

Even when everything around you did.

That’s the part of you I want you to recognize.

The part that kept breathing.

The part that kept moving.

The part that whispered, “there has to be more than this.”

That is not weakness.

That is power.

The Phoenix Does Not Ask for Its Old Life Back

Read that again.

The phoenix does not rise

looking for what burned.

It rises different.

New form.

New strength.

New capacity.

And that’s where some of us get stuck—

We are asking God to restore what was…

when He is trying to introduce us

to what we are becoming.

“See, I am doing a new thing… do you not perceive it?”

— Isaiah 43:19

You Are Allowed to Rise Changed

Let this settle in you—

You are allowed to come out of this

with new boundaries.

New language.

New standards.

New vision.

You are allowed to no longer fit

in places you once belonged.

You are allowed to outgrow

what once felt like home.

Because rebirth does not return you—

it redefines you.

The Ashes Are Not the End—They Are the Evidence

What burned matters.

What you lost mattered.

What ended mattered.

But those ashes?

They are not proof that you failed.

They are proof that something real happened.

And now—

they become the ground you rise from.

“He will give a crown of beauty for ashes…”

— Isaiah 61:3

This Is the Sacred Rise

This is not about pretending you’re okay.

This is not about rushing to look healed.

This is about choosing—

again and again—

to stand up in a life that tried to take you out.

To breathewhen it would’ve been easier not to.

To believewhen nothing around you makes sense.

That is resurrection-level strength.

That is rebirth.

You Don’t Need Permission—But I’m Giving It Anyway

Rise differently.

Rise slower if you need to.

Rise quietly if you must.

Rise boldly when you’re ready.

But don’t stay in the ashes

longer than necessary

trying to make sense

of what was never meant to stay.

You are not meant to live there.

You are meant to rise from there.

This Is Not Your Ending—This Is Your Ignition

Let me say it in a way

you won’t forget—

You didn’t lose everything.

You lost what could not go

where you are going.

And that fire?

It didn’t destroy you.

It revealed you.

“After you have suffered a little while, He will restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”

— 1 Peter 5:10

The oath of a Superhero: (ME)

I am not what burned.

I am what rose.

I am not defined by the loss.

I am refined by the fire.

I am not returning to who I was—

I am stepping into who I was created to be.

Stay With Me

This is not a highlight reel.

This is a real-time rise.

And if you’ve ever felt like

life reduced you to ashes—

Stay.

Because we’re not staying here.

We are rising.
